His offense requires an actual point to run sets, and players that actually execute screens effectively. We don’t have those players.

He probably withdrew. His system ain't going to work with all those weak shooters on the team. They need a Willie Green type of coach.

But but but but…..I was told that Borrego was leaving because BI didn’t want to run his offense and the entire organization was fine with that.
Could be that some of the geniuses with 100k and more posts were wrong about a dumb rumor from a non credible source?
If we weren’t running Borregos offense, then why would he come back even as an assistant coach? He’s a highly coveted assistant, lots of other teams would hire him.
Maybe check your source before you believe some rando Twitter poster named cheddar cheese or whatever yall got that idiotic rumor from.

Maybe because he’s under contract and therefore wouldn’t be able to make a lateral move?
