The New Orleans Pelicans are searching for a trade of Robin Lopez.
Lopez's salary becomes guaranteed at $5.1 million in 13-14 and $5.3 million in 14-15 if he is not bought out for $500,000 by Thursday.
The Portland Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers are interested in Lopez.

Hibbert for Lopez straight up should do it.

I think Tyreke Evans will commit to our offer today, because he doesn't want to be like Iggy and get it pulled.

I really like a few players from Portland, Detroit? not so much
If we could steal Batum, I'll shite my pants on the spot.

Lopez for Meyers Leonard. Young center in Leonard with some upside i believe.

This past year Lopez had 7.8 rebounds per 36 minutes

That's what I think we do. I wouldn't mind him.

The main point behind trading Lopez is to shed salary. I don't think anyone is expecting to trade Lopez and upgrade the center position.

It's probably going to be something like Lopez for a 2nd rounder guys
Not sure why we'd make a salary dumping trade and take on more salary

This is actually my thinking as well.

We would be beyond lucky if Portland traded Meyers to us for Lopez. I highly doubt that we will actually upgrade through any trade only featuring him, as said earlier.
