Amazing and rightfully so all national and even alot of local media so focused in on Zion and its kind of going under the radar we have a 22 year old kid developing into a future superstar right in front of our eyes. All points are not created equal in Nba. Those 4-5 late buckets he scored late last night are game winning buckets on the road. Those arent empty points like alot of young kids put thats meaningful contested buckets late in close game on the road. This guy at 24-25 years will be something else. I think alot of the hate Ball is gathering is due to the way BI just kind of took off. Ball has kind of improved from last season quite a bit and people still bashing him.

Ingram is the wing we have always dreamed about...him and Zion are going to be fun to watch in the future.

He's got top 10 player potential. It's still hard to believe that the Pels got a player like that back in a trade AND all of those draft assets AND won the lottery at the same time. Usually you'd be lucky to have one of those 3 things happen when a star player forces you to rebuild.

I was on lakers trade from day 1 because I knew how skilled this kid was. Us hitting on that Hayes pick is a huge bonus going un noticed right now. Not trying to predict the future but a this point I cant see the Hayes pick being a bust on that pick is a result of Lakers trade also.

Recency bias is absolutely at play here, but I feel like if absolutely nothing else works out from the Lakers trade except for BI becoming a max player cornerstone for us, then I don’t hate it.

And Josh Hart who is a 6th man quality player for a contender AND Ball who will be some solid trade bait.

I know it was different and he hadn't played in a year, but the Spurs trading Kawhi and getting only Poeltl and Derozan was just a disaster when you see what PG and AD was able to get their respective teams.

And also for this thread, pay BI as soon as we can, I feel I've seen enough to get that man his money and keep him on the team.

Ingram has been a pleasant surprise to me. But I admit that I never followed or paid a lot of attention to him before he came to Los Pelicanos

He’s good when he ain’t on this list, but he can’t stay healthy. Appreciate what he’s doing for the Pels but don’t sign him to a max until he can play at least a 60 game season. 2 years in and has 9 different parts of his body injured, meh.

Him staying healthy is a bit of concern. But if he does man oh man. We got a super star in the making. Praying those injuries are just fluke injuries and he can stay healthy.

He gets compared to KD a lot. Putting the tall and skinny aspect aside, it is a good comparison. I dont think he will ever be KD good. For a bit it could be argued he was the best player in the NBA and an MVP winner obviously. I cant see Ingram being THAT good.

My favorite part of KD's game is his mid-range. I think KD could drop 50 a game if every possession he if he got in a good position to pull up and take a mid-range junper. His mid-range jumper is one of the most deadly shots in basketball, and I dont get why he doesnt do it more. He's a good 3pt shooter (last year was a down year), but man that 14-18 footer is silky smooth.

My wish is that he doesnt become a high volume 3pt shooter, 6-8 shots per game, his % is bound to drop, but instead gets that deadly mid-range down. It looks so similiar to KD's.

Ingram is just the “Eric Gordon piece” from the CP3 deal rehashed in the AD deal. A player that wants to be the league leading scorer just to underwhelm in the long run. The Pels sign him to a max, they will regret it just like they regretted Gordon.

Hart is Aminu and Ball is Kaman, at least the Pels got better picks for Davis.

Wait what?? Ingram is WAY better than Gordon and has way more potential. And Gordon didn’t want to be here from the start. Ingram seems to like it here.

Hart is Aminu and Ball is Kaman? Yikes

That’s a great hindsight statement, you must not have been a New Orleans basketball fan when Gordon came to the team.

He came in and literally said he will be the league leading scorer and the Hornets organization and fans believed it.

Better than Tatum. I was wrong. His length is going to be a huge asset.
