I’d give JV a couple more weeks rest. He deserves it. We will have to make due with Billy and Nance and the ball moving with pace all over the floor and defending the high screen and having five guys run back on defense and no offensive moving screen fouls.

BI needs to come back.

JV can sit for a while.

What is up with Dyson? Did we get any updates?

JV won't allow it. He wanted to play all 82 games this year. It was really important to him. You can bet if be can't play 82 he'll play 81

He definitely plays like someone who doesn’t want to get injured. Zion is a high performance sports car and JV is a fricking diesel dump truck.

Man, way to discount the one tough player we have on our team

Dude takes a beating. Sure he isn’t jumping 40 inches up in the air, but he has a similar playstyle to someone like Nurkic and that pussy misses about 55 games a year.

Aren’t we expecting Zion back in the lineup this week as well? If his plan is to return before the all star game.

Getting everyone back healthy coming out of the all star break would be huge since we have one of the easiest remaining schedules. Pels should still challenge for a top 4 seed if so.

2022-23 games played:

High performance sports car: 29

fricking diesel dump truck: 54

Sports cars are great, when they're not in the shop.

This was the point I was making. Jonas ain’t pretty but he’s a work horse.

Nelson is probably shitting his pants over Zion trying to come back before the Allstar break

Griff and management know they're going to have to let him try or he'll go into pout mode

Ironically it's the Allstar game I'd be most worried about because that's where he'll be trying to do highlight reel dunks

Z is only going to play about 5-8 minutes of the All Star game. He starts, makes a few trips down court and then sits.

It is funny to see how people will rate a player in totality.

JVal has struggled defensively this season, no clue why honestly. Some say he's always been that bad and that is flat wrong by every metric. Just last year, we were much better on D when Val was on the floor, and that is the general trend his entire career.

But the funny part is while we can and should call out his defensive struggles, people now take that and their biases and now think he's bad at everything. People have called out his rebounding all year, he's one of the best rebounders in the NBA.

If you look at his per 36 numbers, he's about exactly the same dude statistically, the difference is his defense has been bad. Call that out...all you want. But that's it, every other aspect of his game is exactly who he was last season when we all loved him.

He’s a great rebounder. All those rebounds he gets to Billy or Nance could never get them…

January 24th they said Zion would be re-evaluated in 2 weeks, which is today.

Willie just said we probably won’t see Zion before the All Star break…

But it's ok for Zion to play at the all-star game?

I know the all-star game is no where near as intense as a regular game, but let's get our priorities straight.
