If Pels had choice of either?

Who would Pels have taken?
Who would you have taken?

I think Pelicans would have taken Kispert, but I would have taken Murphy due to defensive potential

Murphy. I wouldn't be disappointed in Kispert, but I think Murphy's ceiling is higher with his size and potential on defense.

Murphy has length, and better defensively.

Either player.

If they weren't going to take bouknight, it was smart to trade down.

Will have to see how Duarte and bouknight develop.

Kispert, and I think the Pels would have too.

Kispert is a better defender than given credit and his combine speaks to that as well.

Kispert is an elite movement shooter while Murphy is pretty much a catch and shoot, set shooter right now.

Kispert can drive and pass better and a better decision maker.

I like Murphy, I honestly think both guys will probably be amongst the best shooters in this draft long term, but Kispert is the better player and probably has a better defensive Joe Harris future.

Same level of player. I said when the Pels were at 10 that Kispert would be a small reach, I think this was a good move by the Pels if they wanted that older shooter type.

Murphy is 6’9” with a 7’1” wing vs 6’6” Kispert with the 6’7” wing

Most things equal, gimme me the younger guy with the length. Both are petrol from deep

I’m not sure. Hollinger reported that they were super high on Murphy and wasn’t sure if they want to draft him at 10 or not.

Murphy at 17 losing Bled and Adams and gaining JV >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kispert at 10

Straight up at 17? I like length.

I agree that kispert is the more complete player at this moment but murphy has the size and athleticism.

I also agree that kispert is the better movement shooter but i think Murphy will be the better defender.

Murphy does have a weird set shot.

I mean, if both were there at 17, I probably would've preferred Kispert. Just because I think he will definitely have a future as a movement shooter similar to JJ, Korver, Joe Harris, Duncan Robinson, etc..

I'm not sure if Murphy will ever be a movement shooter, but there's no way to be unhappy with a guy with his size, length and defensive versatility that shot 50/40/90.

It would be very close, but I'm happy with Murphy. He fills a huge need.

Kispert 4.8 3PA at 40.8%
Murphy 5.5 3PA at 40.1%

This is for their college careers

Hollinger is also an idiot that wrote the Grizz could and might trade Bledsoe and pieces for Buddy Hield.

Like I said, I like Murphy, really like him, but we are kind of hoping he can add the parts of his game that Kispert already has.
