All season we heard about was our depth. At the end of the day, it’s about your best getting out there and preforming.

We need to loose some baggage on this roster and build up our best 7-8 guys. It doesn’t take 12 guys to win a championship.

Depth is to get you through the regular season as healthy as possible.

Unfortunately our depth was lacking at the PF position. And Larry had an injury riddled year.

But you need depth for the regular season.

Also, looking at our team right now, we only have about 8 guys that would have been playoff rotation level dudes this postseason.

Having an injury prone backup pf was a bad idea

all that "depth" really paid off for the regular season for us right!

How many teams have the depth to go .500 when their best player plays 29 games, 2nd best player plays 45 games, and 3rd best player plays well over half the season with an injury on his shooting hand and isn't nearly as good as he normally is?

Where would Denver be if Jokic played 29 games? Miami if Butler played 29 games?

Depth isn't some get out of jail free card that means you can overcome any amount of injuries to your best players.

Yes, it did. We made the postseason, which is all that the Lakers and the Heat did.

If we had a healthy Zion Williamson for the playoffs, we might have made a deep run ourselves.

The lakers didn't. Reaves was the only good shooter for them in the playoffs. Lebron and russell were the only other guys that took volume 3s for them and they were bad at them

Until we do a better job of drafting and developing talent, we’re gonna be stuck.

You either have to be the Lakers or Nets and can sign superstar free agents, or you need to be like Miami and Denver, and develop and draft players.

You won't hit on them all and we whiffed on a big one, probably the most important one...but we have drafted and developed talent well the past 4 seasons.

Playing an injury prone backup forward as primary 5 was the more egregious mistake.
