A question? Why did WG only play Herb...

---13 minutes tonight while all the other starters got mid-30 minutes?
1. WG had decided to cut back Herb's minutes due to his horrible 3-pt shooting?
2. Maybe Herb was hurt at some point? (Although I didn't notice anything)
3. Or...something else? Feel free to tell what that could be...I'd luv to know.

Because we literally play 4 on 5 with Herb on the floor.
The argument to be made is why isnt he being put into the Draymond role of the fricking offense hes trying to emulate.

Herb is miscast on this team. The previous 10 games he was averaging 33 minutes a night and played 35+ in 4 of those 10. Though I think 13 is too little as well. Preferably I would like Trey and Dyson to get all the minutes they can.

I’d love to see dyson start at Pg and be the primary ball handler. Doubt it’s gonna happen
It sucks guys like Branham, Sochan, Jalen Williams and other rookies drafted after Dyson are starting to improve and show what they can do both sides of the ball meanwhile dyson hasn’t been able to take the step offensively because he’s either hurt or just doesn’t get enough touches.
I understand we were winning before and have better players than the teams those guys are on but at this point just let the kid try to cook a little. Put the ball in his hands and let him develop

You can not keep starting Herb he may do the little things that go unnoticed but he sucks so bad at the things that you do notice it makes your eyes bleed. You can see the frustration in BI body language when he passes to a wide open Herb and he air balls a 3 and the next time he so scared to shoot he gets called for a travel. And his on ball defense is so overrated.
This needs to be the lineup until hopefully we get Zion back

I really hate Willie's favoritism toward Herb, he benches Trey because of his Defensive mistakes but not Herb for being truly awful on offensive when we are struggling to score.

Sounds like it's pretty much unanimous...WG decided tonight to cut back on Herb's minutes drastically due to his poor play...on both ends of the court. Should be interesting to see who gobbles up those extra 20 minutes or so per game...in the future.

It should be Dyson for defensive purposes, but the potential to be better offensively.

I don’t think he will be getting a permanent downgrade to 13 mins. I just think he will be more likely to pull early and ride hot hands down the stretch. There will probably still be games where he plays 36 minutes if he comes out and plays well.

He’s a liability on offense. I cringe anytime he takes a shot that isn’t a dunk

He air balled a three pointer in the first quarter…AGAIN. I think it’s the 3rd straight game he’s done that. He’s so bad at offense that it doesn’t really matter how good he’s playing on defense.
Also did someone kidnap Jose and replace him with a shitty player? He really hasn’t done much at all this year and is another not effective player.
Basically we don’t have any good point guards or any power forwards when Zion is out. CJ is a shooting guard playing point guard. Jose and Naji wouldn’t be in most team’s rotation, and Herb should only play if he’s surrounded by 4 skilled shooters.
I don’t think Griff deserves a chance to fix the roster either. We haven’t had a winning season yet, too many missed opportunities with bad trades, and a roster with 0 legit point guards, 4 centers, and 1 power forward who can’t stay healthy.
