2ND year in a row finishing 4th in scoring among all SGs. And he's under a similar "bargain" contact as Ryno.

False. Eric Gordon has better career stats in virtually every category except rebounding...and games played.

His Advanced, Per 36, and regular stats are all better for their careers.

Win Share, Assist %, Points, PER, Assists, Steals, etc etc...Eric Gordon's are all better.

Since i believe burke is gone come 6th pick, we will be stuck with Bennett, Len, or Saric.

In this case swap picks with Dallas for OJ Mayo and Marion or Carter to take Gordon. They get youth talent in Gordon, get rid of an old contract and middle lottery pick.

Derozan career: 15.2 PPG, 45% FG, 81% FT, 3.5 rpg, 2 asts. 1 stl,

Gordon Career career: 18 ppg, 44% FG, 81% FT, 2.5 rpg, 2 asts, 1 stl

Those numbers aren't accurate.

Derozan Assists: 1.8
Gordon Assists: 3.3

Derozan Steals: .8
Gordon Steals: 1.1

Gordon's PER: 15.8
Derozan's PER: 13.8

That being said Gordon has been a shitshow these past two seasons. Would I trade Gordon for Derozan? Yeah, probably. Would I trade Gordon and #6? No.

Ok and then we sign Pekovic.

Vasquez/Rivers
Gordon
Batum
Davis/Anderson
Pekovic/Smiht

Average age of roughly 24 years old. Might have to make more room for the core players though.

Why not just draft Shabazz and save $25million over the next 4 years?

Is it just because Derozan is better now?

Are you sure Shabazz will be averaging 18/4 in the next 3 years? Remember, he averages over 36 mins a game.

I predict DeRozan will be an all star w in the next 2 years. If he were playing in another place besides Toronto, he'd be getting a lot me love thruout the league.

I think Shabazz has more potential to be working at Fed Ex in the next 5 years than to be a legit player in the NBA.

Maybe Fed Ex Forum....

Seriously, though, the guy is a legit NBA prospect. His star potential was greatly overstated, but he should be a serviceable wing player for several years. Al Farouq is a legit NBA player, for reference....

@FletcherMackel: Just throwing this out there since Dell Demps says he'd listen to trades for pick. #6 pick & Greivis Vasquez for DeMar DeRozan? @SmithRaps
