I am so done with Wemby.
I read he only plays once a week.
no no no.
luckily there's a 85% chance another team gets him. too f ing bad for them. not me.
I don't care how sweet his jumper looks. the u of Kentucky were ncaa finalists the year mj went #3 overall.
the Kentucky center went #2. he had had stress fractures in college.
he was never 100% healthy a whole season in nba.
see Vic Wemby for parallel.

I'll start watching sporadically....

Around the time March Madness starts.

Then I'll watch a bunch of youtube videos in the weeks leading up to the draft and declare myself an expert, and everyone who likes another guy is dead wrong

This methodology did give me positive views on Trey and Dyson so not totally pointless!

I also don’t want to be the bearer of likely bad news, but I do think we should focus a strong bit of attention on picks 4-9. Cause I think that is likely where the Lakers pick falls.

Which, isn’t the worst thing cause there are still a lot of interesting players like the emerging Brandon Miller, Cason Wallace, Lively.

I think it's looking more likely too unless AD gets hurt, which, you never know. But I wonder at what point you just try to trade the pick and some guys for someone that can actually get minutes on this team.

If the pick is outside the top 6, I think you have to seriously consider trading it and Graham for someone that can actually help you. Minutes will already be tough to come by and outside of a top 5 talent (Wemby, Scoot, Thompson, Whitmore, maybe Brandon Miller?), I dont see any of these rookies that could come in here and earn minutes to help us next year.

Anyone else like Nick Smith Jr? He reminds me of CJ but slightly taller and potentially better defender.

I’ve only watched highlights so far but Nick Smith Jr definitely has that type of archetype with his game. Plays with a lot of energy too

Am I wrong for preferring Scoot over Vic for this team if we had the choice between the 2?

Scoot is legit. Not a popular opinion, but it would not shock me if Scoot had a better career. He is young D Rose with a better 3-point shot.

Brandon Miller is now at 32.7% on 2 point shots and 37.8% at the rim on the season

Hasn’t been very good since those first few games lol.

Meanwhile nick smith has scored the ball well his first couple of games back for Arkansas

He closed the game for them today. Scored their last 6 points and sealed th game with a steal. His shooting has came back down to earth but I still think he's a very good prospect.

I'd be thrilled with Scoot or Victor, but the odds of a top 2 pick are just not that high to concern myself with them unless we win the lottery. As for who I want us to pick, nobody has played enough games to really judge.

My guy is GG Jackson. The things he's doing at 17 is insane. He's really good.

Cam Whitmore has looked really good starting his college career after having thumb surgery.

Could very well be the #3 guy after scoot and Webanyama when the draft comes

I saw a mock today on NBC where we got Whitmore at 7. Would be ecstatic with that

Wemby might have the best overall tape I have ever seen of a prospect. But man his size scares me, kinda same as Chet last year. Small chance we end up with the number 1 pick so it doesn’t matter.

I think you are replacing guys like Temple, Hayes, and Graham with the young prospects. They serve as cheap player development. Also you never know what will happen. We closed out the Suns last night playing two undrafted guys.

Wemby looks like he is built like The Rock compared to Chet's build.

#1 for #2 and 2-4 future 1sts and take Scoot who fits this version of the Pels PERFECTLY

#1 for #2 and the trading partner #1 unprotected next year. I don't expect 4 picks for 1 spot up.

I have low tolerance for
8 weeks to rest and heal fibula crack earlier this year.
