I think we are better than they are but they have the best player/top 3 player in the world.

Just think, if the rumored trade happens the Lakers will have essentially traded Kuzma, KCP, Harrell and 3 1sts for Turner and Heild

Ingram and CJ are far better than Murray and MPJ…

And Jonas is better than whoever their #4 option is.

Jonas is a better scorer than Aaron Gordon. Who’s a “garbage man” roll man scorer.
I’d rank them as:
Jokic
Zion/Ingram
CJ
Murray
Jonas
MPJ
Gordon

You’re higher on Murray and MPJ than I am.
I think our top 3 are better than theirs.

I would put Herb ahead of Gordon and if Trey gets a little better in his defense awareness I'll put him ahead of Gordon too.

I can’t do that. Gordon isn’t a star player, but he’s a star role player and an excellent defender.

I think are top 3 are better than theirs.

On Caesars app right now, the odds to win the West are:
Warriors +280
Clippers +380
Suns +430
Lakers +750
Nuggets +1000
Grizzlies +1000
Aside from the asininity of the Lakers fans, the thing that stands out to me is how good of a bet that the Nuggets are. That's tempting, as I might put them just behind the Warriors.
By the way, we are currently +1600. I placed my $100 bet early in the offseason at +2500.

I think CJ and Murray are what and what as players.
The only reason Murray has more trade value is because he’s younger.
Denver is gonna be very good but remember Murray has a tendency to be very streaky and Porter is so injury prone. He makes Zion look like AC green

You paying for next year’s pelisuite game after you cash it?

I have 25 on pels to win the title at +4000 from a while back.

Have $25 on Pels Western Conference winners at +2700 and $15 on Finals Champs at +4000. Not much but honest work
Seems we can get multiple Pels suites if they make the Finals…

if they make the playoffs and are healthy, they probably could beat anybody if LeBron and Davis bring it.
my ideal is they get to playoffs as road seed vs a team I follow (gsw, pels and memphis) and the tv guys have to apologize to viewers as Davis and lebron do not play at all and the four games avg 155 to 86 with the 4th in Los Angeles 156 to 68 as no laker starter in double figures.

I got MVP for Zion at +5000
It's now at +3500

The Jazz and Knicks can argue they don't need the Lakers, banking on L.A. being desperate enough to take a marginal deal to get out of Westbrook. But if the two franchises are truly stuck in a Mitchell negotiation, perhaps there's a three-way compromise that works for all.
Perhaps that's Mitchell and Gay to the Knicks, Fournier, Bogdanovic and Reddish to the Lakers, and Westbrook, Toppin and Grimes to the Jazz. Utah gets 3-5 first-round picks (with one from L.A.).

Nahhh, I hope they don’t bail the Lakers out like that.
Posted on 8/31/22 at 6:20 pm to Soggymoss
his point is (and its a good one) is that the jazz are not interested in any of the knicks salary guys, and the knicks now cant make the deal without sending those guys out. so a third team will most likely have to be involved, if there is to be a mitchell deal
