Well without our 2 best players, we're one of the worst teams in the league, so...

I'd feel pretty confident in our squad minus BI and Zion in a 7 game series against them minus Fingerbutt and Lebaby.

Tweet from a dude from Yahoo Sports:

Reviewed the Lakers’ L2M reports this year. There have been 34 incorrect calls (or non-calls) in the final two minutes of their 19 close games this season. 21 of them went in favor of the Lakers.

Close game defined as a margin of 3 points or less.

I find it hard to believe people pay actual money...to watch games like this Lakers/Nets game. The NBA has trouble.

What's the new number of games going to be? 72? 64?

Meh I'll interject some here.

I'd say that if both are fully healthy with the giving rosters, Lakers in 6 or 7...

Mainly just due to playoff experience.... a series anything over 5 games would be great for the growth of this team. As much as most people don't like the Lakers etc.... a loss in a series vs someone like LeBron would go further for a franchise than a loss vs something like the SAC Kings or Minn TWolves... if no one understands that, then thats where your basketball IQ should end.

76

Division 16 (4 teams x4 times)
Conference 30 (10 teams x3 times - alternate home/away advantage each year)
Opposing Conference 30 (15 teams x2 times)

reducing 6 games can be enough to do away with half of your B2Bs (we have 12 this year if I counted properly)

But if we're really going crazy: 66. Because you reduce out of division games to just 2 (1 away, 1 home)

Who is the home team? 2/3/2? 2/2/1/1/1? Fully healthy and rested?

I'd take us in 5. They have nothing that can touch Zion and we have wing depth to bother James. I believe the Lakers are tailor made for McCollum to shine. We are a bad match up for them (young, fast, high energy)..

All spot on.

I think regardless of seeding etc... any matchup the Pels will get teams will target Zion differently than they are during a regular season output. You may see many more "sag" defenses and allow the big fella to shoot more 3s. If he makes them, tip your cap...but its better than Olay style defense and let him dunk or get FTs.. Which those defenses would make other guys step their game up and then you would have to see more consistency and "others" step up. I think the Pels do have the roster to make those adjustments, but do think that valuing an appearance in the playoffs and getting the city to continue to grow and build its basketball culture around this team will also be more impactful for a future REAL run...

Thats why you see me constantly refer back to having patience with this group

Also, The Bulls lost back to back games to the Cavs with under 1 second on the clock where both times the league said they screwed up and no statements from the league was made about how devastated they were.

It's nonsense. The Lakers whining about how they're always screwed is nonsense. The refs releasing a statement is nonsense and shows the preferential treatment they get.

Go back to the Westbank. Lakers have had better health luck than us this year and we're still ahead of them in the standings. They needed 2 OTS and 77 minutes combined from Fingerbutt and Lebaby to beat us without Ingram.

they went 6 with suns and cp3 set the all time % record 100% and barely beat the pels.

i dont think another loss in 6 in round one does it for me or them now. host a series. win. the home records of memphis and gsw are nearly unbeaten. dont be outside the top 4 seeds.
just dont.

Rui is a really good role player, and he wants to be in LA due to the Japanese connection. Someone needs to inform him what the Californians did to his people after Pearl Harbor

They also didn't have Devin Booker

They had Booker more in that series than the Pels had their best player.

Heck of a final couple minutes here.

Knicks battled back from down 6 late.

Currently tied up with 4 seconds left, Knicks ball.

Brunson having a great game, Randle 6 for 19.

So of course Thibs runs a play for Randle, who doesn't even get a shot off.

Headed to OT.

Shame the Knicks couldn't close and let this one get away.

I still really like Brunson though. He had a great game and is having a really good season. He has proved a lot of doubters wrong.

Knicks just don't have a one or a star. Randle and Brunson are really strong 3s, that can be 2s on occasion (both borderline all stars). But they need that prime piece. Barrett just isn't it and he was supposed to be more..
