Our best player in Ingram and our best defensive player in Herb were both out. We still could have and should have, but that is very tough to overcome.
So what is the excuse for how bad we've looked since?

Discombobulated is a good word. Jose and Larry Nance Jr. and maybe Naji are the only players that have exceeded expectations consistently this season. Everyone else has been up and down depending on the night, and I include Willie in that.
To me I think it's a good thing because this team is over .500 but still has a lot of room to improve. And the things they need to improve on are the kind of things that should improve with games played.

And they’ve run lebron out there every game at +35 minutes. As constructed I figured this team would be about .a 500 basketball team when the big three is healthy, with inevitable injuries and rest driving them into a sub .500 high lottery team.
The fact they are 2-7 in a stretch their big three has been together for 8 of 9 is straight porn for this Pels fan.

But but his mental health.
Also, it’s wild how they are losing when Westbrook is doing well currently.

"Here is a crazy idea...
Trade AD, Lonnie and the 2027 or 2029 1st rounder for Ingram, Hayes, Alvarado and our 2023 and 2024 1st rounders.
We can tank in peace while we get a rebuild going while also maintaining the offensive system that Ham has in place. Ingram and LBJ as the core and we have Hayes, Alvarado, Troy, Wenyen, Reaves, Bryant, Jones, Max Christie to work with after Ingram and LeBron's contracts are up."
Crack--has to be crack

In what fricking world would we accept that?

I find it astonishing the Warriors are only a half game up over the Lakers

From @TheNBACentral
Simmons is likely making stuff up, but I also wouldn't be surprised if this is true.
Davis's behavior lately has indicated depression, and he might be ready to try to escape from L.A.

Because he’s weak and will get destroyed by Los Angeles media. This is hilarious tbh but truthfully I don’t like it because it worries me a desperate team may overpay for him and end up helping the lakers.

Full Simmons quote:

“The Lakers lost again. There’s some buzz, just some buzzing that AD might be available. That is a Plan B because the Westbrook trade, or what they can get for Westbrook, whether you want to give future assets, maybe that doesn’t even make sense for the Lakers. You’ve got Davis here, who hasn’t looked the same in a couple of years. Certainly, not close to bubble Davis, that’s the last time we saw vintage, 2018 Pelicans’ level Davis. This year he’s on the books for 37.9, next year 40.6, player option in 2025, 43.2. I don’t know what the endgame for this Lakers team is, but the Pelicans have their pick. I don’t think whatever they have, is not really fixable to make them a playoff team.”

so does Kerr. his big next move is to move Kuminga into the rotation.
Klay can't guard at premier level. he's not confident of tough shots at weird angles he used to make.
and there's the bully green.
I think its time for gsw to flush/trade green and retool
for 2023.
green and 2023 gsw unprotected first to lakers for Davis as is.

If they trade him, I hope they trade AD to a shite arse team like the Magic or the Kings. Let his career rot away playing for a poverty franchise.

I don’t see why a bad team would want him.
