I don’t know how we’d get there salary-wise. We’d have to send out Hayes and Temple or Temple, Willy, and Kira to make it work. Neither of those seems worth the slight upgrade
If we're looking for immediate help and don't want to wait on him, Nance can be moved.

Just with Washington Montrezl and KCP both work for Nance

That's a decent trade for the Raptors. That 2nd is pretty valuable considering how bad the Pistons are

The Charlotte Hornets and San Antonio Spurs have discussed a possible trade of PJ Washington, Kai Jones, and the inclusion of a first-round draft pick for Jakob Poeltl, league sources told HoopsHype. Currently, both sides are haggling over the potential inclusion of a first-round pick in the trade.

Seems Spurs are moving to tank the rest of the way.

So we need the Kings to keep playing well and the Lakers (and Clips) to keep dropping

Doubt it as we are pretty close to the tax line. I would expect at some point that we convert Jose to a full contract.

Seems like Willie is set on making Jose the backup PG (which I’m pretty happy with).

I actually wouldn't mind him here. Solid vet. Decent shooter. Still have Kira's DPE don't we?

Wouldn't DG be the backup PG? Or would he move to more of a 2? I don't like a DG/Jose back court for the second unit, but since Jose is a menace it could work. Just really small
