Reggie Jackson back to clippers 2/22

There's been a ton of pissing and moaning, but who really got better in FA?
Mostly, it seems like shuffling one marginal player for another.
Everyone jumps to "names" without context.
Are the Lakers better because they added an expensive, ego-driven ball hog who is now on his fourth team in four years?
Is Chicago better because they spend way too much on Ball and Derozan?
Are the Knicks better wrapping up tons of money in marginal talent?
The Heat might get a short term bump this year but they signed up for an over the hill PG that could fall apart at any moment.
This was really a terrible FA class. I really don't see it impacting the standings much.

It really was. One of the worst ever.

I think he was always slated to come back unless he got massively overpaid.

Technically, yeah.
There's no reason to delay any announcement unless details are being finalized or other irons are in the fire.
The fact that no team has announced anything is sort of strange.

Ugh! Hope I did not jinx us?

Do not want, but he has no home. I bet he’s pretty annoyed that he turned down that 4/84

I’d take Schroeder on a 1 year deal and I don’t like him. He wouldn’t make us worse.

People keep talking about how we struck out on so many people and no FA wants to come here. But did the fact that this is a weak FA class factor into that? It's no secret that we're not a top destination. But when the pickings are slim at the top, the big markets are going to get all the big names. I'd think that we would've had more success in a deeper FA class (like next year's if we're still a player by then)

This is a bigger deal than his on court play. The dude is an a-hole

Yep what a dumbass.
Oladipo too, playing for a 1 year minimum when he was offered 3//$90 extension, twice.

Woj better stop retweeting NFL guys and get back to work. He's starting to irrationally piss me off.

I thought he was crazy not to jump on that at the time. He’s gonna have to take a one year now.

Yup. At least Griff wasn’t the biggest loser this free agency. Gotta be a gut punch to lose this much money and likely never get it back. Ouch

Lonzo had a better percentage on similar attempts last year.
Lonzo shot right at 40% from catch and shoot threes last season, Graham shot 42.7%, so I'm not sure what your talking about.
Career disparity is much larger btw

I don’t know why Griff doesn’t want Lauri M. He apparently turned him down at the deadline and doesn’t seem to have any interest in him now. We could use a stretch 4.
Someone praised the Spurs earlier and said we should have done what they did. Their top target was Lauri but he wanted to much $ so they moved on. Well the market has kinda dried up on him now. Don’t know what Griffs endgame is. Don’t think he really knows.
