I don’t disagree. My post quality has gone from a solid C plus to F minus in the last 24 hours.

Hoping for a big move to lift my spirits. shite posts is how I cope in the meantime though.

This is why the Pels can not rely on FA to be good. Zion and his parents can frick off if they can’t comprehend this.

Man, the Lakers are just making calls and signing players. They are all flocking there for nothing.

He’s got 2 years on the rookie deal left then will probably get $200+ million.

He's not eligible for a Rose Rule max after next year currently.

He needs two years in a row of certain qualifications to be eligible.

OMG wtf. He is 25…Why is he chasing a title? Frick.

They got Monk and Nunn for probably 1/3rd of what we were offering 1 of them.

Nunn's deal has a player option in Year 2. He turned down more money with the Knicks and other teams to join the Lakers.

Just 5 years ago, they were not an attractive place for FAs. Star players and success matters.

The parity in the league was nice last year. Seems to be going back to the status quo though with all these title chasing signings.

The Lakers easily could’ve found a way to match that salary number and they didn’t think he was worth it.

This is where I know you’re trolling. He wasn’t a restricted free agent. They couldn’t match if they wanted to. He decided to go to the Bulls and Lakers couldn’t do anything about it. Read the lakers board and you can tell how many people are upset at losing him.

Caruso actually played against him in Game 3 and did well. He was -14 during that game.

Here are his Highlights from last year. For 9.25 million a year with that kind of play. I take that any day.

You got young 20 year olds accepting the minimum and turning down more money to ring chase this league is beyond lame now

No shite. I didn’t say he was. I said the Lakers could have given him $9.5 million easily. They didn’t offer him that obviously or he would have stayed.

Hopefully the Lakers will collapse like the Nets did in 2013 when they had Garnett, Pierce, Derron Williams, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez, AK47, Jason Terry

They could have matched using Bird Right's, they just decided not too. Caruso's agent asked if they wanted to match and they declined.

Why didn’t they keep him on Booker then?

That seems unprecedented. Its usually old washed players that do this.

This is considered a bad FA period and a lot of teams didn't have big money.

But still. Really bizarre.

Well if anything looks like the pick we gave the Grizzlies next year will be the last pick of the 1st round.
