Not just because of Dwight, he's just another guy that can't shoot.
If the plan is to start Russ, Lebron, AD and Dwight, then they'll make the playoffs, but the wont get past round 1 or 2.
Also, if one of AD or Lebron goes out for any signifcant amount of time, which is likely, I don't know that they even make the postseason

Shamit saying the Holmes Sac deal is clarified and it’s actually 4 yr 46 mil, so no cap gymnastics or trades of Buddy/Barnes needed to field a legal team.
Adams- 2 yr 35 mil extension before the year
Holmes - 4yr 46 mil after an outstanding season
Adams might have gotten 4-6 mil this offseason. And that’s not even a guarantee tbh.

Carmelo would’ve been nice here. Backup 4 that can shoot and win you some games when he gets hot. Zion loves him. Obviously No way in hell Carmelo would come here even if we offered him every dime we had left. He has his money. Now he wants a ring.

Westbrook averaged a triple double again last year. I think the Lakers will be fine in the regular season, in fact they can probably rest LeBron a good bit and just let Russ and AD grind it out. But when it's playoff time it feels like they won't have enough shooting to make it work.
