Porter is a little on the washed side.

I'm a little biased because that's who I wanted in that draft.

I think he’s broken? Healthy I might like him

Jesus, this a rough free agent period, which I guess that explains all the overpays.
I mean, given what all of our targets have gone for, I’m not all that bummed at this point. We essentially replaced Lonzo’s stats for half the price and picked up a backup guard plus Garrett temple in the process. I don’t think that alone is moving the needle a ton; but that in addition to removing the black hole that was Eric Bledsoe, and getting a big who can at least make a couple from deep a game should make us better. It may only be play-in tournament better, but still better nonetheless.
I think one more decent move could help in a big way, I just don’t know that that move is out there in free agency. Is Otto Porter even healthy? He could be useful, but only so long as he’s on the court.
I feel like Rodney Hood’s name was brought up a bunch in here a couple of years ago, but I honestly can’t remember seeing him play a a game of basketball since he was in the finals with Lebron. Is he any good anymore?
It’s just slim Pickens out here

Probably, but we take fliers on non-shooters because of Vinson. Let’s take a flier on an injury risk because of Nelson.

Holmes 4/55 back to Kings.
There was speculation they may want to clear some cap before doing that but guess not.

Pretty good deal for them. High energy guy and fits their team

This deal tells you how shitty the Adams 2 for 35 mil extension was.
Holmes freaking killed it this season and got less than 14 mil per.
I’m disappointed we struck out on all of the legit mid level type stretch bigs

Mcclemore to Blazers.
Lakers lost Caruso, McClemore, Kuzma and Trez so far.
Instead they resigned Dwight Howard and got Westbrook, Ariza and Bazemore.
Seems like a downgrade to me.

I would hate to be running the Laker training room this season.
Those frickers are going to use more gauze than your average mummy.

They got even older.
I honestly didn't think that was possible.

Wait until they add Melo also

Might as well bring Gary Payton and Karl Malone back too.

The more I’m reading about Graham, the more I’m coming around. There also seems to be an obvious trend with all these moves. Graham has shot 42.3% on catch and shoot 3’s over the last 2 seasons (4.3 att). Our rookie shot something like 44% in spot 3pt situations. We now have a 5 who can occasionally make em from out there.
I get what the thinking is, Zion creates a ridiculous amount of wide open spot up 3’s. Lonzo had his best year from three last season for a reason, he shot 6 spot up 3’s per game, making 40%. This was largely offset, unfortunately, by Eric Bledsoe shooting 34.8% in such situations and his taking 4 of those shots a game. So even though we aren’t improving Zo’s catch and shoot numbers by a huge percentage, there’s also addition by subtraction going on here.
All of this is leading me to believe that we’re going all in on point Zion

Oh you think this might be according to plan?
