I know it’s fun to pile on the lakers right now but I’ve legitimately never seen a team 16 games under .500 as good as this laker team.

Yes. After tonight lakers are functionally locked in to being the 8 spot in the draft lottery. It is possible they could still match the spurs record and wind up as the 9 spot in the lottery but that just isn’t happening.
The pick is ours and now it’s just hope for some lottery magic for the 8 spot to jump into a top 4 pick.

More than likely being at 8 or top 4 is a huge spot in this draft. Even 9 is decent.
