Portland has acquired the No. 43 pick from New Orleans, per source.

Anyone know what the trades were? My god nba draft is so confusingly stupid

Agreed, its way too hard to keep up with this crap. They need better communication

Told y’all we would dump or stash it

It's gonna be a close one between what second rounder is better.
Dump or Herb Jones?

They haven't announced what we received from Portland for pick 43.
Only pick we have remaining on board is 51 that we received from Memphis.
Been keeping the OP updated with our selections/trades

We had to. We don't have roster spots.

So all these picks are going to result in a solid 3 and D guy and one second rounder who can’t play with Zion. Well done Griff!

Getting a future 2nd. Probably 2022. Just pushing assets forward.

I'm thinking Hart is gone. He was possibly going to be a cap casualty anyway, but now there are several guys that do what he does but are bigger.

Should have drafted Bassey. I think he actually will earn a roster spot for whoever he goes to if a few spots available.

This is a good point. Hart also will likely be overpaid at least some and seems to want to leave. Culture is important.

Are they assets if you just sell them later for cash?

i hate to lose hart because i think he's one of the few guys on the team who plays with fire and will jump people's asses to get them motivated but you're probably right

I love the Murphy pick at 17, I doubt Herb Jones has an NBA future.
They said they wanted local talent for the G-League team in B'ham, so I figured we'd draft atleast one Alabama or Auburn player. I was thinking we may take Cooper there at 43, but even a G-League team can't make Griff take second round picks lol.
