I think would keep me energized between gathering food/water and starting fire.

1) After The Gold Rush
2) Inner Mounting Flame
3) Highway 61 Revisited
4) Sunday At The Village Vanguard
I'd have to have a gun at my head to pick #5 if that was it for life. To go the distance without a Miles or Beatles reference is unthinkable. Same with choices of each. Choosing between the first quintet, second quintet (my fave), and then Bitches Brew / Jack Johnson era is no different than selecting from three separate essential artists. Same with Beatle eras... too many other essential artist as well ...frick this....

I went through here and took note of some albums I'd never heard before, and I must say, I've become fricking obsessed with this album. Incredible music.

Physical Graffiti-Led Zeppelin
Mothership Connection-Parliament
Elephant-The White Stripes
Songs For The Deaf-QOTSA
Illmatic-Nas
ETA: Band/Artist names
In retrospect, I'd probably take Hooker N Heat over Nas. I just wanted to throw in some hip hop for flavor
