Could be a Concert, New Instrument, discovering a new Artist, etc…
Mine was
The Cure releasing their new album on November 1st after 16 years.
Songs Of A Lost World
And the Live Concert at
The Troxy, London on the same day

New instrument and amp for me. I got my first Gibson. A Les Paul Tribute in honey. I also grabbed a Friedman JEL20. It's a Jake E Lee signature 20w head. The combination has completely transformed my playing.

Around the beginning of August, I logged into Youtube music when I got to the office. I saw a new album from Mononeon. I'd never dug into his music, but I know he's a very talented bassist, so I hit play and stumbled onto my album of the year.

Finally got to see, hear and feel The Wall of Sound. Better than I could even imagine.
However, Billy Strings NYE show is neck and neck with the Dead & Co at the Sphere last summer..

The final Beatles song to ever be released is my musical moment of 2024.

I was going to post the same. "Now and Then" is no Strawberry Fields or Let it Be, but I still listened to it over and over knowing that each of the four sang and/or played on it. 53 years after they last recorded together, thanks to technology Lennon and Harrison would never see, we got one final song from the legendary band whose every album was a greatest hits album for most bands and had at least 20 singles hits that weren't on their albums. And they did it in less than 8 years. Truly mind-blowing.
It is quite emotional for those who revere them, then and now.

Maybe seeing Swamp Dogg perform after a screening of a documentary about him at The Texas Theater, where Lee Harvey hid out after shooting Kennedy. Swamp is like 83 years old be he friggin rocked
The other was at my neighbor's annual Hootenanny in his back yard where I met my wife 25 years ago. His son is Max Johnston (Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, Gourds) and his daughter is Michele Shocked. Michele has never shown up at the party but did this year and all three played together which was pretty cool.

getting 3 Keith songs in Atlanta, and just seeing the Stones again was the highlight for me.
got to talk with Otis Rush after Buddy Guy in nashvile, he told me a story when he worked with Jimmy Reed. Otis would keep the booze flowing for Jimmy, then he would let Otis play his guitar
