I don't know too many "new" prog metal bands since 2006, but here is a list of prog metal bands and some power metal (very similar genre to prog metal) bands:
1. Dream Theater
2. Symphony X
3. Kamelot
4. Adagio
5. Angra
6. Pagan's Mind
7. Ayreon (only for those who SERIOUSLY love prog metal)
8. Meshuggah (open for debate whether prog or not)
9. Opeth
10. Angel Dust
11. Symphorce (Maybe more power metal than prog)
12. Blind Guardian (Technically power metal, but prog metal guys will love them)
13. Helloween (power metal)
14. Mystic Prophecy
15. Dream Evil
16. Gamma Ray (power metal)
17. Dragonforce (power metal)
18. Evergrey (though you may want to ignore anything they have done since 2005)
19. Nevermore (not really prog or power, but their sound will appeal to fans of both)
20. Demons and Wizards

Secret and Whisper is a bit on the hard side as well
I'm not familiar with the bands you suggested. I'll have to check them out later.

For sure I like prog rock... more metal, but I like it all. Lately I have been on instrumental prog metal(at least I call it that). Bands like Irepress, TIDES, Mono, Russian Circles...
Like I said, I only gave them(Circa,Fair2Midland) a few listens. And this was some time ago. I will revisit.
