Your favorite live performance by your favorite band?

By performance I mean song. If I had to go with one, it would have to be Queen's rendition of "Somebody to Love" at Milton Keynes in 1982.

Saw A Perfect Circle last year, best concert I've been to. Got chills whenever they played The Hollow, it's my favorite song

Not my favorite band, but the best thing I ever heard live is This Goddamn House by the Low Anthem. They had the audeince call each other on our cellphones and hold the phones up. The reverb created eventuially made it sound like crickets chirping in the background. It was pretty damn cool. And a great song.

My favorite is the Stones below:
Street Fighting Man
This is the hardest I've heard the Stones play. Mick Taylor was the man! This is for the audio as there is no live footage of it.

Best concert by far was Peter Gabriel - Secret World Tour
It would be hard to pick one song, but the "Across the River, Slow Marimbas, Shaking the Tree" production was the most memorable.

chitter- a live performance of Street Fighting Man in 1969, looks like MSG- HERE
Mick Taylor was a vital part (if not the most essential part) of their best era. He deserves a lot more props than he gets.

back in the day it might have been Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy tour or Jethro Tull Thick As A Brick tour.
SRV a few weeks before passing holds a special place in my memory
Have seen Buddy Guy many times (makes me think frick that getting old crap). He gets critiqued for up and down performances but I've never seen a down one.
Guess I'll pick Govt Mule. I always feel like I get more than my money's worth from their shows. Often they have interesting guests sitting in. Always 2-3 surprise classic rock standards out of the hat. Haynes usually makes the Top 20 of guitarists alltime lists, prolly closer to Top 10 for me. I appreciate hard working hard touring bands like Mule as well. Can't really pick one show of the many I have seen though.

Best performance for me personally was 311 when they toured with Matisyahu. 311 is a very good band live and put on a very entertaining show. Plus, they always do this which is pretty cool and nifty.
