Have to go with front row for Rush Roll the Bones tour at UNO, 2/23/92.

For a top 3, I'd add:
Plant/Page at UNO March 1995
Eric Clapton, Biloxi September 1990.

Overall - Iggy Pop - Memphis Music Fest early 2000s. Sounded great, played great, watched that old arse man climb all over the stage giving 110% the entire show.

Atmosphere/Fun - Hatebreed - multiple times early 2000s. Great band and put on a great show every single time (noticed from the hell fest flier they still tour with Terror which is interesting). On top of that the pits at their shows are always well organized and some of the most friendly people youll ever slam in to.

Talent wise - Clapton - Late 90s. Nothing fancy and him just kind of going through the hits but still a damm fine guitar player and amazing to watch. Even kind of just going through the motions is great.

Little Feat on the Riverboat President at Jazz Fest 1988. Their first concert after the death of Lowell George and the energy was unlike any other concert I've seen. With Bonnie Raitt, Jimmy Buffet, and Ed Bradly sitting in.

Recording of concert.

quote:

The recording is somewhat less than pristine. But it captures the atmosphere extremely well, with the
drunkenly enthused featfans singing along at full throttle. This may be the only audience recording where
I don't much mind the crowd chatter. It gives you a feeling of what it must've been like to be one of the
lucky few that night, afloat on the Mississippi River and an ocean of booze and the rebirth of America's
greatest rock 'n roll band.

Kiss in Memphis a few times, Scorpions opening for Motley Crue (should have been reversed in my opinion)in Nashville, Bon Jovi opening for the Scorpions in Memphis 1984, multiple Uncle Teds in various small venues and Segers last show in Nashville. Couldn’t name just one.

Pigface in a small bar in Raleigh, NC circa 1993 or 94.

They blew away all the bigger acts I've seen in my life and that's no small number.

Small shows that floored me:

The Smithereens--Tipitina's 1983
The Bodeans--Tipitina's (1989?)
Stanley Jordan--Tipitina's early 90's
Brian Setzer Orchestra--N.O. House of Blues late 90's?

Arena shows:

Alice Cooper 1987 at UNO--a "greatest hits" show of props and music
The Who Jazz Fest 2015--first show of their 50th anniversary as a band. The steroids and long rest had Roger Daltry in great voice.
Bruce Springsteen 1984 at LSU--I know, let the hate begin. But there's a reason he's known as one of the best in concert.
Earth Wind and Fire multiple times--no more fun band to see, even after Maurice White had to leave.
Dan Fogelberg Acoustic 1983 @ LSU--one of the most underrated musicians/songwriters/singers of recent times, probably due to most of his hits being "lite rock".
Allman Brothers--multiple shows over the years when Greg wasn't trashed.
