Yeah music as a whole is in the shitter. I mean frick I saw an award show last night where best rock song was won by panic at the disco and imagine dragons had 2 songs nominated within the category. Just awful

Country radio just plain out sucks right now. Bobby Bones is terrible. The award shows are terrible. It's just Suburban Pop, generic and forgettable, all under the guise of 'Country'.

Pop and Rap have infiltrated and made it more popular than ever. It's also the worst it has ever been.

Country music now is designed for the LCD (lowest common denominator) crowd.

It lost it's folk appeal, its soul. People have changed and are attracted to superficial pop culture. The traditional things that fueled Country music, Rural America, working class are much different than they were 40 years ago. It's more urban/suburban.

Not sure, I stopped listening to country radio about 5 years ago.

There are still a bunch of good country music being played but mostly online now..
