She's been mentioned a couple of times already, but
PAT BENATAR!
C'mon, starting in the 70's she was one of the first rocker chicks. Great voice, great original songs, trend-setter, etc.
I know Stevie Nicks is a great artist, but she was in with Fleetwood Mac already. PB deserved to get in before Stevie's solo induction--much more of a game-changer as an artist and a prime motivation for girl leads/groups afterward.

Very few...depends on what they classify as metal. Sabbath is in of course, and they are considered the pioneers of metal. Hard to understand Maiden not being in the “rock and roll” hall of fame. I guess it’s because they never sold out to be played on the radio.
