they pretty much write their music for dumb, hick teenagers these days. It literally can't take more than a few minutes to write some of the shite coming out of there these days, "OK talk about liking cold beer, your truck, and living in a small town...and just build around that. These idiots will eat it up."
its funny, back when country music was actually original it had the "every song is about a dog dying, woman leaving" stereotype, but now that its more mainstream every song is basically the same now

Country music was great in the 70's as was the 60's and 50's. There has been some good country artist since the 70's, but only a few in my opinion: Keith Whitley, Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakam, George Straight & Don Williams are some who kept it true.
