I'm good friends with Randy Rogers and the Braun brothers (Reckless Kelly) but I don't know how many people would actually consider them famous.

OH! And Arcade Fire

I guess a comprehensive list would be:

Willie Nelson
Jerry Jeff Walker
Jason Mraz
Arcade Fire
Adam and Brian from Guster
Ben Nichols (Lucero)
Turnpike Troubadours
Randy Rogers/Brady Black
Reckless Kelly boys
Ed and Gordy from Band of Heathens
Cody Canada
Stoney Larue
Kevin Fowler
Preston Wait from Josh Abbott
Pat Green and band
Wade Bowen
Roger Creager
Will Hoge
Robert Earl Keen
James McMurtry

A bunch more I can't think of right now.

Band of Horses

My ex is best friends with the keyboard player so Ryan gave us all-access passes to both the ACl taping and festival 2 years ago.

And Ryan Bingham. I have a friend who used to work for him and another friend who has been besties with him for YEARS. Sexiest dude ever.

Phil Lesh, talked to him for about 15-20 minutes once. Cool dude

BB King: Went to the blues club in NYC to see Steve Kimock Band, saw him in the bar area and slipped in (I was 18 at the time). Went, said hi, shook his hand, was asked to return to the area for under 21s.

Sleigh Bells a couple times.

I would... three of my favorite artists.
That being said, my most famous was Kevin Fowler.

I've met Willie and Hank Jr. both multiple times. I knew Tim McGraw pretty well before he got famous, haven't seen him since. Met Emmylou Harris once on a hiking trail in NC. We shared our bottle of red and watched the moonrise on Whiteside Mountain. (My friends smoked a joint in front of her but neither she or I partook.)

went up to River Road Icehouse one Memorial Day weekend to see either Cooder Graw or Boland, and ran into Bingham, way before he made his name. Was introduced to him by the guys that played in Rodger Wilko, before they busted up and Zack went on his own way

I was on the campus of UCLA one time, going to a Joe Pass concert at Royce Hall. A little bald dude came up to me as I was walking and asked, "Do you know where Royce Hall is?" "Sure," I replied, "I'll get you there, Joe." For the few of you who don't know, the late Joe Pass was one of the all-time greats of jazz guitar. A phenomenal player. Nice guy, too.

I've stood in Faith Hill's shower. I also met a lot of country singers at the country club I worked at in Nashville as a teenager. I'm not well versed on country stars, so I can't remember any of their names except Kix Brooks, who was always a good tipper and drove a fine Ferrari.
