Mostly emo, scream rock, country, techno, and 80s power rock. Why?

fwiw I have a few friends who are big into Tool. I could just never get into them, but was willing to see them live. Took some psychedelics, the lights were great, but the music was still just meh. The highlight was Tom Morello coming out for a few songs but it still just wasn't an appealing sound for me.

not really a surpise the general public doesn't get into an "art rock" harder band.

I'm not really a big fan of anything post aenima (1996) but their live show is pretty good these days. their first two full length records were on point.

The experiment is to see how many people will ask what the experiment is before the thread dies.

Your better than that Quailman

It is real easy to see why people who have not heard TOOL don't like them. I also respect people who say they tried but didn't like.

Its the people who base their opinions on TOOL off of others thoughts and have no friggin clue. Experiment them

I would really love to know Kafkas thoughts(serious) on them... although I am sure it is way out of his wheelhouse taste-wise.

Sounds like you really haven't figured out what you like doesn't it? Don't label others for the bands they enjoy listening to when you can't even make up your mind on what you like.

Im prob as big of a Tool fan as anyone on here... But the amount of threads you start on Tool and how you come across is douchey. I don't know if you are really a fan or just a gian troll, but your posts and arrogance are the exact reason why people think Tool fans are douchey fan boys.

I think his post on other boards about other things lends to that as well. Certainly beating a dead horse with the TOOL threads. I think he has started all but one here in recent time.

From what I can tell he is a TOOL fan though. Just tired of waiting for a new album. WE ALL ARE

I RA those threads everyday.

Not because I think the guys that post are douchey. Just because if you click on it they are talking about anything but PHISH.

How does listing a number of genres I listen to "sound like you really haven't figured out what you like"?

Making childish puns on my user name with the word "queef" though...now that sounds like a tool to me.
