Not necessarily who you think are the best, but your favorites.

Gram Parsons, Sam Cooke, and Nick Drake for me.

SRV. Would love to see how good a 45 year old Stevie could have got. How good could he have peaked before old man hands slowed him down.

Jimi Hendrix, so many possibilities for his playing and production as he entered the 70s.

Hendrix and anyone in the 27 club.

Also Bonzo. Just to squeeze another album out of Zepplin and couple more years til they broke up. But then an Eagles-like reunion tour or two would have been nice.

I had the pleasure of meeting him at the Unicorn in Milwaukee the night he got out of jail. He was there for a Mentors show. There at the bar were GG and El Duce. I asked if I could buy them shots, El Duce signed a Mentors album that I brought to the show. It's easily one of my favorite musical memories...doing a shot of whiskey with the two of them. I'm forever grateful that I drank with GG.

I've actually heard that GG was a really nice guy off of the stage. Still a shite eater though. You just can't unring that bell.

Yup. Both he and El Duce were very approachable and very nice.
