It is truly amazing how much some people will pay to see some of theses ancient rockers still perform....

I’ll be going to see a band with 3 70-yr olds in it this summer so it may be hypocritical to say, but roger daltry and Pete townshend need to stop touring/playing as The Who...

The Stones......seeing a 70-something dancing on stage, shaking his arse is just cringeworthy

Jethro Tull. Worst concert in my life a couple of years ago.
Ian Anderson doesn’t have a voice left.

U2 and Robert Plant with whomever he chooses to sing on stage with...whether it's a bad Indian band or Alison Krause.

Pay much? Money or attention?

I saw Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters in B.R. last year and thought his band was packed with some of the tightest musicians I have seen in a while...

Saw U2 last night, Bono’s politics are annoying, but that was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen

I’m mainlly an ‘80s/‘90s metal guy, but a few years ago my wife wanted to see Journey. Steve Miller opened for them. I was familiar with a few of his songs over the years but never “into” his music. I enjoyed the hell out of his show though. The whole time I found myself saying, “Damn, I didn’t know that was one of their songs. Steve Miller can keep on jamming into eternity.

Why do you care what bands other people want to see?

It doesn't help that he completely changes the tempo of his songs so they're totally unrecognizable

I love Dylan but his live shows are useless except to say you saw him.

If enough people want to pay to see them, it really makes your point mute. They tour because enough people want to pay to see them that it is a fruitful endeavor. As long as that criteria is met, the amount of people not wanting it means nothing.

Simply supply and demand.

And get off my lawn!!!

My comment about Steve Miller is because you can damn be sure he's touring every summer. I'm pretty sure he's played Houston every summer since 1988.
