What’s the highest you’d pay for a concert ticket?

Major If - dead or alive, in their prime.

Without batting an eye $750 - Jimi Hendrix Experience.

Hypotheticals are stupid

Better question would be how much have you spent?

Let's hear it, custys

I don't remember the exact amount but a 6th row seat to The Wall was well over $300. That's the most I ever paid for the ticket itself. If you include travel expenses, I've paid probably $500-600 before.

Paid $186 for Eagles; $375 for two to Adele in 2016; $300 for two to Celine Dion @Caesars in 2005; $800 for 4 to Def Leppard/Journey in August.
I’d pay $500+ for Adele, Sade, and The Who.

I’d pay a couple hundred to see Tom waits. I had tickets for a show in Phoenix several years ago but had to cancel. I’ve always regretted it, and of course he hasn’t toured since, and rarely makes appearances with much notice. The type of shows I typically go to are the ones where a couple beers cost more than the ticket.

Paid $250 each for good Paul McCartney seats. Worth it.

I don't plan to ever spend what I did on all of the shows during Fare Thee Well weekend in Chicago, but I definitely don't regret doing it.

FTW Damage:
3 Nights @ Soldier Field
Greensky Bluegrass & Infamous Stringdusters w/ Keller Williams @ Chicago Theatre
moe. @ House of Blues
Railroad Earth @ Concord Hall
Steve Kimock @ House of Blues

I'd pay a pretty penny to see The Smiths if that ever happened again.

Maybe Danman and I would let you join our crew for the inevitable Smith reunion at 'Chella

HeadyBrosevelt,

Next time, if you don’t like a thread ignore it and start your own. No thanks for highjacking this one.

I just paid 125 for Neil Young balcony.

Just him solo for an hour and a half.

Highly recommended if you're a hardcore.

About $80. None of the bands I really like would charge more.

You are definitely going to get your money's worth. Saw him at Jazzfest about 10 years ago and he crushed it on the Acura stage. Still think about that show.

I have paid more than $250.00 per seat for every concert I have gone to in the last 10-12 years, the highest was around $800.00. All were classic rock artists, and it is sort of a bucket list thing for the wife and I so we pay whatever it takes to get decent seats.

I sprung for pit tickets to the last show I went to, and now I think I'll be doing that a lot more often.

It makes the show exponentially better when you can watch the actual performers and not the big screens next to the stage.

I’d probably pay $500 for Metallica, Tool, NIN or Pearl Jam

The seats would have to be amazing though
