What's the boards opinion on Bro-Country?

Was chatting up a girl yesterday and talking about what type of music we both like. The conversation turned to country so I was saying how I liked George Jones, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash etc... She then goes off how she only listens to Florida Georgia Line (after that I completely checked out) and I'm sure she listed a few other more modern artists that are equally as bad. Afterwards to restore my faith in humanity I laid down in my living room and listened to the entirety of Red Headed Stranger for about an hour 
What's the rest of the board think about this kind of music?

It's soulless pop music that combines some ridiculous suburban ideas of what country living might be like with some urban flair. The product is god awful in every way.

Yeah it's basically like what people who don't live in the country think living in the country is like. The worst part tho is I know tons of people from very redneck parts of the country who fricking love that music. It's actually really disappointing.
