Sledgehammer was definitely a TOP vid of the 80's, along with Shock The Monkey.

I agree with Duran Duran. Hungry Like the Wolf, Rio, Girls on Film, Is There Something I Should Know.

I loved MTV in the 80's! And I watched Night Flight too. It came on the USA channel on Friday nights if I remembered correctly.

I also remember Bryan Adams, Cuts Like a Knife, in heavy rotation. The really large, empty Olympic size pool and the girl climbs up the diving board, dives in and comes up wet.

A lot of GOOD videos mentioned but to capture the 80s you have to also include these

Safety Dance- Men without Hats

Purple Rain- Prince

Adam Ant- Goody two shoes

Twisted Sister- We're not gonna take it

Did anyone mention Devo's Whip It?

Bow Wow Wow, I Want Candy.

Also, Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo.

The head coming out of the beans was part of MTV ads for years.

Good one with a good video. The Cars had 3 other really good videos/songs too with Tonight She Comes (my favorite Cars song), Magic, and Drive.
