"Don't stop believing."
Was going thru a divorce when it was big. Even now when I hear it I get a uneasy feeling.

"12:51" by The Strokes reminds me of the early days of dating my wife

"Needle in the Hay" by Elliot Smith reminds me of all the years I spent being depressed before therapy. Couldn't imagine a more perfect track for that scene in Royal Tenenbaums.

'The Mountains Win Again" brings me back to the time my best friend died in a plane crash.

Not a single song but the whole album "Cold Roses" by Ryan Adams & The Cardinals. I had just moved to Mobile and started college. Can remember the first time I put it on. Not necessarily happy or sad, just a lot of apprehension about starting a new chapter. Still one of my favorite albums.

"The Dance" was played at my wife's funeral.

I ruined that song forever.........but it still fit perfect.

Wow sorry to hear that.

"Say hello to heaven" takes me back to when my buddy shot himself.

me and the wifey dance to howie days "collide" at our wedding so obviously thats one I have a connection to. Cheesy song maybe but o well

played "the legnths" by the black keys for quite a while after a breaking up with a girl. still love that song and it isnt bad memories but I think of her everytime I hear it.

danced with my mom to "landslide" by fleetwood mac at my wedding. thats the only song that has ever made me cry. still tear up to that. i was a mommas boy dont hate

"walked out heaven" by jagged edge was playing the first time I hooked up with this girl i had been wanting to in high school.

jeremiah "planes" is one me and my wife like to play at times, she gets extra freaky to that one lol

most random one is "splackavellie" by pressha. i used to sing this, half joking, half baby making to a girl and she freaking loved it.

turns out i have a lot of r&b memories.

Had a college friend commit suicide. He was a musician - at his memorial his band mates played REM's Perfect Circle - Standing too soon Shoulders high in the room, Heaven assumed, shoulders high in the room. Just about killed me. Fortunately that song never comes up anywhere.

For Happiness It's Rock Lobster, just because it reminds me of being drunk or high without a single care in the world.

len- steal my sunshine

takes me back to spring break 2000, my senior year in high school.

i had recently broken up with my gf and was feeling down, but my parents were going on a weeklong vacation which coincided with my spring break. i remember dropping them off at the airport and driving back home and the song came on, the weather was beautiful, and all of a sudden i felt great. Spring break was awesome that year as i spent the entire time hanging with friends and partying.

When my daughter was an infant, there was a stretch of time when I’d pick her up after work and she’d scream her head off on the ride home. I’d put on SRV’s Pride and Joy and sing it at the top of my lungs to drown her out.

She’s 14 now and loves the song. Whenever I hear it I smile and think back to her being a baby.
