I have an old GIO as well - it lives at my parents. My first guitar ever. Played it a month ago while visiting and it never played so well. Maybe I can play better on anything now, maybe it was new strings my dad put on, maybe it was nostalgia. Great first axe.

Mine is easy to play and I wrote a ton of good songs on it, but it has a bent neck, doesn’t sound great plugged in, and has tons of tuning issues.

It was my first electric. My acoustic is actually my mom’s

It’s a six string. Student size. About the size of a ukulele you’re right. Kind of hard to plays chords, finger picking not so bad. Sounds surprisingly good for such a small guitar.
Have La Bella 900 Gold Nylon Stings on it now. Play with it every once in a while.
Wife bought it for me at Destrahan Plantation flea market / craft show.
She thought it was cute. I’m not gonna refuse any guitar!
Especially when the wife is buying.

Tobacco Sunburst 62 AV strat
Epiphone ES335
Santana SE I got in 2005 I think?
Fender Resonator
Fender Grand Acoustic 12
Some cheap arse Ibanez acoustic

Favorite is the Epi. I've changed everything but the body, headstock, and neck Had a pair of Rio Grande Texas BBQ humbuckers in it and they just bring it to life. Went ahead and had it rewired with quality shite when they were doing the humbuckers so I have all new pots and switches. It sounds amazing now.

Strunals are great guitars for the money. I have a 3/4 size classical myself. It's well-constructed and sounds pretty damn good. Cost about $200 new.

just put a new set of Duncan SSL-5 singles in the G&L Legacy yesterday so it will get most of my play time this coming week.

That's the same pickup I'm putting in my bridge right now. Great pickup. My Klein epic 63s are microphonic and I want more juice in the bridge anyways.

I'm already in love with the SSL-5 bridge the most of the three in their respective positions. Nice mid bump without being honky and no ice or harshness under grit and gain. I can see why David Gilmour shares our fondness for it :)

2018 Martin D-28 Standard.

I want a smaller acoustic.Something like a Guild M-20.

The Martin is the best acoustic that I've ever played.

I played on various guitars for 17 years before getting the Martin.

I play the '83 LP the most. There are several other guitars scattered around the house and in my studio. I really should take stock sometime.

that list covers quite the guitar spectrum, nice work

Everytime I buy a pedal or guitar, I tell the wife that's just more fun she's going to have in europe when I leave this earth. I'm leaving her instructions on how to sell it all. I think she may be buying it. Not sure if that's good or bad.

A friend sold his Tele that he bought new in 1958 for probably 2/3 of what it was worth. He said he was 78 years old, could drop dead at any moment, wanted some fast cash to have some fun with, and if it was left to his wife she would just sell it at a garage sale for 5 bucks.

The '57 Tele could fund one helluva vacation or finance a down payment on a home. I can't play out with it.

After 20 years of drumming, I decided to learn guitar. My collection is at 1 currently:

Taylor GS Mini, mahogany body. Its a beauty.
