Synthesizers and drum machines suck. They produce tacky sounds that rapidly date music. They also require next to no talent to utilize. Give me real horns, real drums, acoustic guitars, and/or electric guitars with some overdrive, and tell those damn track samplers, synthesizers, drum machinists, auto-tuners, hip-hoppers, rip-rappers, teeny boppers, and EDM twerps to get off my lawn!

The reason folks use the medicine bottle type glass slides is because of Skydog.
He's THE definitive slide player in rock history.

You said his contributions (not his talent) are overrated and you were presented with numerous reasons why his contributions were vast and numerous - not to mention he was able to contribute that much to the music world in such a ridiculously short period of time.
