All the seats are pretty good. I saw arcade fire and the cure there a few years ago and it was the same as I remembered. I used to see wsp there a lot back in the day. Have fun at those shows. Would be going if I didn't already make plans for tdb in Chicago.

I worked in that shopping strip with the Rouse's, and it was fun watching all the hippy girls take their clothes off in the parking lot before heading to the WSP concert at the arena.

Smaller sized “hockey rink-type” arena. I saw many great shows there in the early 2000s. The only downside for me personally was logistics to and from the Quarter/Bourbon St.

Enjoy Billy! He’s amazing

one of the best places to watch a concert imo, it holds i don't know- 8-10 thousand, a little smaller compared to the arena, but a solid place to hold a concert. i seen many shows here

I will be there Friday night taking my daughter to her first concert ever!!. Will be in the nose bleed but center of stage.

fwiw..I saw a few concerts back in the day when it opened (1988 or 89) John Fogarty and a MTV Club tour with Paula Abdul, Tone Loc, Milli Vanilla etc.. My memories from that era are fuzzy at best but it seems like the venue was great for music. We shall see.

I know they sold individual seats, but Billy Strings at UNO for all intents and purposes will be a General Admission show. It's going to be a free for all in there.

back in the mid 80's thru the 90's, the LF Arena was the top destination for concerts in NO. The Dome was to expensive & big, and the Saenger was too small. I was in HS and college and could always find $25 to go see a live show .... I saw a ton of concerts including: Allman Bros., AC/DC, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Eric Clapton, Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Soundgarden, Dokken, Ozzy, DIO, Genesis, Ratt, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, RHCP, R.E.M., Scorpions, Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, Van Halen, Page & Plant, Black Sabbath, Boston, Bad Co.

My only regret is not going to see RUSH who played UNO 6 times
Would loved to have seen Rage Against The Machine as I'm sure it was fricken nuts

Widespread Panic played UNO 32 times, mostly their Halloween shows

even Frank Sinatra, Prince, and Fleetwood Mac played the LF Arena

it's still a great venue with tons of parking. Not a bad seat in the house. Not close to any hotels or food places, but ample space to chill in the lot and do your thing pre-concert

Great arena for shows. Not a bad seat in the joint. About 10k in size. Hallway floors always get sticky. The ceiling is pretty low when you're in the top of the arena, but that doesn't really matter.

Ubers and rides back in to town can be a bitch after a show FYI. plan accordingly.

I have seen WSP there probably 10 times. Never a bad show. Have a great NYE run with Billy!

i don't think there are. Saw Tool there and had what I thought were going to be bad seats. But, I had a perfect view of Maynard who unlike most leads was off to the left side ( as you're facing the stage).

I very much like seeing shows out there. Better sound and sight lines than most SKC shows (of course it’s not as big). It’s not as conveniently located for most things but a good place to enjoy a show.

December of 99.

My buddy and I got tickets for the pit for 20 dollars each off eBay. Last day of finals first semester at lsu. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been too.

That place has really gone to shite. The venue only gets what can’t handle the Smoothie King.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Sure, It can use a Facelift. I wouldn’t mind seeing more shows there. It’s a good mid size place. Since it isn’t huge even if you are in back row it is still a good view.
