It's pretty bad subject matter, but it's gonna be a hit. The lyric writing is pretty solid, but it's just a direction that I hate for country music to go in. I'm glad for the guys who wrote it. The Criswell guy has written a few of Adkin's songs before this, I don't know if they were hits. The other 2 writers are Derek George and Michael White.

Don’t mean to derail your thread, but I had to share this song that’s in the same vein as your song. My wife listens to it sometimes and it is hands down the worst fricking song ever.
