I mean, that doesnt necessarily mean yours are wrong. Well, in this case it does. But I am sure there is a variety of stuff we agree on.

His surprise show at a Denver auto shop parking lot before playing Red Rocks later that night was pure genius.

So what we've learned is:

Banal and trite = multiple platinum & gold records and awards for working in 3 different music genres, and with 3 different bands/duos.

Ya, mainstream American buying public is a great judge of a lasting legacy, and the grammys are the be all end all of musical credibility.

I never said anything about just America and the grammies.

He's had multiple gold and platinum certifications outside of the US, as well as multiple awards outside of the US.

Maybe you should just say,

Ya, mainstream WORLD buying public is a great judge of a lasting legacy, and the WORLD music awards are the be all end all of musical credibility.

What exactly do you expect from your music? To be honest, all I've ever seen you do is hate on anything not Phish.

This is good. I enjoy experimental music. I also like listen to some simple music and relax sometimes. You probably do too. There's a time and place for different things. You can't listen to Varese all the time. What's your honest reason?
