it is good stuff, jazzy, good songs, good vocals, quality work on the keys and with the horns.
Also Jack White will probably remembered as the rocker of this generation, but not saying much because we had to have one. I have never been absorbed by a ton of his stuff, but White Stripes were loud and fun when I saw them in 07. I think he is really good, not particularly my taste, but he will probably be remembered in a more favorable light due to lack of competition.

Agree with the lack of competition
Also agree that I think he's pretty good, and there's talent there. He's a good story teller, with some decent songs. I can respect what he does because of that

Jack White is a beast. There is melding of many influences but are we saying that Anastasio's influences aren't obvious?
"So and so's music sucks" is a well thought out critical analysis- makes you sound like you live with your mom.
Seeing JW in his hometown big D in late July, and cannot freaking wait. Have never seen him and cant make NOLA.
