Well I checked ticket prices for some of their other upcoming shows. Not paying $300-400 for a seat. Some of the bad seats are still in the $200s.
I paid $250 to sit second row for GnR three years ago.

That's crazy but these shows will still all sell out quick and scalpers will get $300+ per ticket.

ETA: Looks like most tickets start around $90 for 300 level seats. Go as high as $350 for floor seats

Are there any pre-sales? I'm not seeing any right now. I have a feeling we are all going to be stuck in that new Ticketmaster "waiting room" for awhile.

I just signed up for their "Tool Army" thing in order to catch their presale. It was $50, but I think the presale starts tomorrow at 10:00am for members.

The pre-sale tomorrow is only for the $500.00 VIP tickets. You need to be in the Tool Army in order to get VIP tickets.
I did VIP in Houston and IMO it was worth the money. Saw their sound check. Played “Fear Inoculum” in full (no maynard). They had food for us and had first dibs at the merch table. VIP also included a Tool backpack and Tool zip-up sweater. I got there late and was basically last in line when they passed out tickets for the show. I received Third row, center.
But what made it truly worth it was not having to deal with Ticketmaster. Still figuring out if I’m going to do VIP in February.
