The pre-sale tomorrow is only for the $500.00 VIP tickets. You need to be in the Tool Army in order to get VIP tickets.
I did VIP in Houston and IMO it was worth the money. Saw their sound check. Played “Fear Inoculum” in full (no maynard). They had food for us and had first dibs at the merch table. VIP also included a Tool backpack and Tool zip-up sweater. I got there late and was basically last in line when they passed out tickets for the show. I received Third row, center.
But what made it truly worth it was not having to deal with Ticketmaster. Still figuring out if I’m going to do VIP in February.

I’ve never seen a show at the Toyota Center, but I’ve seen Tool in the uppers at the Smoothie King Center and I left disappointed with the sound, especially after seeing them so many times up front. GA admission was the shite!

Snagged a VIP for Houston. I wasn’t going to hassle with Ticketmaster tomorrow morning. It was $500 bucks but I’m already seeing stub hub tickets for sale for over $200 in the uppers.

I don’t see anything on the internet yet. It was an email from Bandsintown. Hopefully it isn’t bogus.

Just received an email saying Helmet will be playing House of Blues New Orleans on Halloween night.

I really hope Tool isn’t playing Voodoo. With new material being played after their album, I wouldn’t want an abbreviated festival set.

Anybody going to their show tonight at One Eyed Jacks?
Saw them at Shaky Knees a couple years back and remember them being a lot of fun. Hoping to recapture that energy tonight! :dude:

Not seeing Tool this tour :wah:
You'll probably hear some new material you lucky SOB!!
I had something similar last fall. Flew to Denver to see A Perfect Circle at Red Rocks and then flew back home to New Orleans to see Alice in Chains at the Saenger. Then went to Voodoo that Friday to see APC again.

Failure & Swervedriver- 3/16

This show is at the Republic. I saw Failure a couple of years ago there and they sounded incredible. Can't wait to see them again. "Fantastic Planet" is such an underrated album. New stuff isn't bad either.
I've never seen Swervedriver. Anybody have any experiences seeing them live?
Failure- KEXP

I'm excited. :dude:
Been the last two years and it's such a fun festival. I love how they separate the rock weekend from the EDM weekend (shaky beats).

Can’t decide. oh Sees or Cloud Nothings at Gasa Gasa. I’ve seen both multiple times and both are great.

Yeah. I didn’t get tickets till a hour before the show. Apparently some people who had tickets reserved couldn’t use them and they released them to the public. Called a couple of my friends and we all got tickets. Also saw them at Preservation Hall a couple months prior to that. I’m not a huge Foo Fighters fan but was in the right spot at the right time both of those nights.

I saw the Foo Fighters at the House of Blues a couple of years ago and tickets were less than $50.

Were you able to jump the barricades and be right up on the stage? Weiland had shaved his head and the sweat was pouring off of him right onto us. It was gross. lol

King Tuff is badass! :dude:
Show last night was awesome as usual. Loved when he flipped the bird to Arcade Fire's singer at the end of one song.
