Huge massive thanks to TH03 for the tip on how to get around the down for maintence issue and get in the queue. You have my gratitude good sir.

I almost had a heart attack until I found out how to do that. Glad everyone was able to do that, just sucks y'all had the other issues. Ticketmaster sucks. For as big a company they are and how many bullshite dollars they steal in fees, this shouldn't ever happen.

I noticed the website was down but for some reason clicking the ticketmaster link on the Tool website worked no problem.

Gotta be fast cuz when you click on a seat there's a good chance someone beats you by a millisecond. Much better chance you can snag a seat if you just go for one seat instead of two together too.

Managed to get a single floor ticket dead center in section 5 for the Memphis show and got a pair of tickets for the NOLA show right on the middle aisle in section 106 which is first level up and in back of the floor nearly dead center. Not bad. But frick these ticket prices. Wanna go back to the early 2000s so I can get tickets for $30-50.

It's Kanye's fault

On Friday, a portion of the tickets — which are free to the first 45,000 people — were offered in a Ticketmaster pre-sale and it led to a ticket-grabbing frenzy. Ticketmaster’s site went down during the middle of it, leading to some irritated Ye fans.

Live Nation app worked fine for me around noon. Even though I got stuck with uppers, it'll still be a kick arse show.

Got cheap upper seats and I'm perfectly fine with that. Nobody in that arena will see Maynard anyway.

I hate the system but appreciate the ability to pick individual seats vs the old “best available “ bullshite

I was able to get my ideal seats. First row, upper level . 2 sections back from the stage.

That's what we're doing. We tried to buy tickets when they announced and I got shut out.

We ended up finding out the wife is pregnant so upper level it is

That's crazy but these shows will still all sell out quick and scalpers will get $300+ per ticket.

What pisses me off is that if you went to SeatGeek, TicPick, etc before tickets even went on sale, you would've noticed they were already selling tix in every section. Anything with Ticketmaster and/or Live Nation's name attached to it is a fricking racket. I thought of adding "IMO" to that, but convince me it isn't a fact...

I mentioned this at the start of the thread. I didn't know you could do that so early. I almost bought some on Wednesday but I'm glad I didn't.

Author and Punisher announced as next year's opener. I saw him open for Phil and the Illegals once. Not sure if I really liked it but it was interesting.

Not quite that easy, but I guess there is a way.

What confuses me is all of this on the ticketmaster site:
This event will be using mobile tickets only. Mobile ticket delivery will be delayed until 24 hours prior to the event date.

MOBILE Tickets ONLY. Tickets are not transferable. No Resale / No Refund / No Exchanges / No Alternate Pick Ups allowed.

SOOOO, exactly how are they being resold on stubhub etc? Screenshots can be turned away, but depends on the venue. That's the only way I can people forwarding their tickets to someone via the third party sites.

When I saw them in Salt Lake I went through Vivid b/c I wanted the tickets early to be able to book flight, I was sent a link a week before the show that went through Ticketmaster for my tickets.

See that's great, when ticketmaster offers such a thing. For the NOLA show "Tickets are not transferable.", which makes me wonder how this is going to go.

Same tour, I'd imagine it was the same stipulations.

Nah, you can either transfer through ticketmaster or you can't. Sounds like you can't for this NOLA show, officially at least.
