Baton Rouge doesn't like rock music. It would have to be BTE, Molly Ringwalds, Benjy Davis, and Cowboy Mouth if you want a big crowd here.

I think you'd get a pretty good crowd for the acts you mentioned... but it is in no way realistic..

Those random bands could not be assembled for some random arse show in Tiger Stadium (why would you even put them there in the first place?!?!)

Jimmy Buffett
I could see this, as there are enough Parrotheads who would travel from all over to see him, especially since he typically doesn't play Alabama, Mississippi or Arkansas.

I would also think the Rolling Stones could fill it. Might need them to have a very limited US run, like say NYC, LA and BR.

I love the Blues fest, but I wish it would turn into an even bigger thing. If only blues/rock were popular enough here to have a massive festival dedicated to it. Something similar to Clapton's Crossroads festival would be amazing.

Tedeschi Trucks
Gov't Mule
Joe Bonamassa
ABB
Jack White
Buddy Guy
BB King
Gary Clark Jr.
Eric Clapton
Anders Osbourne
Robert Randolph
Johnny Lang
John Mayer

Maybe some artists/bands like Alabama Shakes thrown in along with some good local blues/rock acts.

That'd be my ideal festival.

I just don't get the appeal of having a show inside Tiger Stadium. Why not the P-Mac? Arenas traditionally have much better sound than an outdoor stadium plus the PMac has some history behind it with stuff like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
