I can't think of another guitar player who had a more unique sound than Houser. You either really liked it or you didn't. He had a stream of consciousness thing going in his playing that was mind blowing at times and directionless at other times. I loved it.

I was also there, but I prefer the Halloween show they did the next year when the threw the Nelly song in the mix. I think it was at UNO. Most I ever danced at a panic show.

That began the downfall. It was a great show except for that Nelly moment.

The McConnell years were definitely the peak..

George got a pretty raw deal, IMO. They never should have hired the guy. But somebody had to be hated for taking Houser's place. Jimmy does a great job doing his own thing, but respecting Houser's spirit in the songs. Personally, I think they peaked at Sandy Creek, '93..
