Sound for Clapton is turrible.

Of course, I'm basically sitting in Chalmette, so maybe that's why.

whenever the wind starts kicking, if you are not directly in front of the stage, the sound is going to blow arse.

Phish was nothing crazy but replacing it with Arcade Fire is a joke. Might as well just shorten it to "The Offical New Orleans Jazz Fest Thread".

Left after How Long.

Couldn't hear shite, some kid(s) behind me dumped about a cup of sand down the back of my shirt, and then their count mom jumped my arse when I leaned to Mrs. Sheep and said "my folks would have made me apologize."

And that he did. He wailed just like a was hoping for, but I agree the set list was meh. I wasn't a fan of the whole acoustic set. The sound was so bad that you could barely hear it. He didn't disappoint on the guitar though.

I thought Clapton was great. Tons of Derek & the Dominos classics (Tell the Truth, Key to the Highway, Nobody Knows When You're Down and Out, Layla) and some superb extended blues jams. I wish there would have been some Cream though. White Room would have been sick. The crowd was definitely older, but that made for some spectucular MILF appearences
