Yeah pretty much. No sense in squeezing through the mob to get any closer for that snoozer

Despite it being lackluster I still had a great time. No love lost for Phish

Yea we got out of that shite and sat in the way back behind the back speakers. Much better listening to Trey mindlessly noodle back there.

I guess I was stuck too far back in the crowd for k bumps and nitrous balloons. Maybe next time.

Spreadhead's review of the show yesterday:

Pretty disappointed in the opener. They basically picked up where they left off last tour. Moma Dance and Funky Bitch were probably my two favorite in the first set.

DWD>Birds>Twist was a great beginning to the second set. Sparkle is an awful song.

Hood>Cavern was good. Grind was a waste of time. Glad I was on a beer run. And hate all you want but the Julius closer was good.

I was expecting it to be better but the boyz are getting older so the theatrics are fading. Either way we had a great time. Lots of first timers in our crew and they loved it so that makes it worth it imo.

some danman comments:

- lst set was meh. Wolfman's and Funky Bitch were pretty good. Lot of 3.0 stuff. Just meh.

- The DwD (which I missed the first few minutes of) and Light were the two highlights imo. Trey's meandering got tiresome (pretty much the whole show), but the end of both jams had some pretty cool ambient stuff going on.

- That Hood was fricking terrible

- You closed a set with Grind? I've listened to Phish for a long time now, I've never "gotten" the a capella stuff. shite is boring. Who cares. Play jams.

Nothing else really stood out for me really. I think the Sand was good, but I dunno. Pretty average show, still a good time.

Seemed to be a lack of energy on their part. Which is weird, because Trey looked stoked when they walked on stage and the KDF set a good tone.
