Dave is still, well, Dave...Megadeth never did it for me, but a lot of people disagree.

It’s a solid album. Riffs galore. Continues in the vein of Dystopia, which is good for me. I’m diggin it!

One of my favorite cuts on the album:

Youtube - We’ll Be Back

Damn, that grin on the drummers face, reminds me of my old friend back in the day. That's when I knew I was on it.

Dave is to me as Rob Flynn is to SEC Clint.

Hard pass...

I bought a string of Megadeth albums back in their prime and dug them a lot.

These days, at nearly 50 years old, I just can't get into them, anymore. I gave this album a shot and tapped-out after the first track; it literally hurt my ears.

That's good to hear. Dystopia kicked arse!

Just saw them live a week ago. They still bring it. They played We’ll be Back in the set & it was great. I’m getting this album.

I learned a lot by watching Dave play and his approach to guitar.

That's about all, he got Dissection kicked off an event because he didn't agree with their views and refused to share a stage/event.

Was very hypocritical of him and pussified, I've never liked his vocals and metallica did the right thing by kicking him out.

Me neither Clint, they're actually quite awful and always have been...but I have to ask: what DO you like? You seem to hate everything and everybody...is that a cultural thing that works with the music you like?

I like the new album a lot. It rocks hard. Few songs I don’t care for but overall great if you like thrash metal.

To quickly sum it up..Mostly the extreme metal genre, I love Dissection, I credit that band with saving my "musical life" along with Grogoroth, Goatwhore, Beherit, Watain, Darkthrone, Burzum, Naglfar, Taake, Dark Funeral, Bathory, Celtic Frost, Marduk, Belphegor and more.

Going a little lighter Acid Bath is one of my all time favorite bands.. and I can also make time for some more well known bands such as Alice in Chains(90s), Black Sabbath, Pantera, Tool, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails(90s), Manson(90s), Smashing Pumpkins(90s), Metallica(80s), The Misfits(Danzig), Mr Bungle, Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots, Rasputina etc..

Can also get down with Reo Speedwagon (Hi Infidelity was a staple of my childhood), David Bowie, The Doors, Depeche Mode, Queen, Keith Green, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, and a lot more.

Wed be here all day of i went into detail lol

Well, I think Elvis was maybe the first performer that really scared the public and brought religious views into the picture for just the way he performed, on such a scale. If you're doing something to upset the moral-majority, its always going to be entertaining.

That “majority” and their morals have changed significantly from those you’re likely thinking of, who are now very much a minority in pop culture.

Really hope they keep this lineup together.

I've become a big Kiko fan and I've always liked Lomenzo.

It's just kinda funny seeing him go from White Lion to Megadeth.

He's a great fit, tho' ( I know there were a lot of stops in between).

Megadeth…..just never liked them. Every time I see Mustane, I laugh for some reason.

I know, as has what is considered "shocking" in music.
