After reading your post I think you need to give XTC a thorough listening. Andy Partridge's hooks are second to none in my opinion. He's the master of the perfect bridge. Start with Nonsuch and Skylarking for some real pop craftsmanship.

I know they stopped touring early on, which limited their audience, but it floors me that XTC is not hugely popular. Their music is so damn good.

My name is biglego. I never played much with Legos.

I like all types of music. If I have to pick favorites, I'd say new country and pop.

My favorite artists are Nickleback, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and some crazy nights I like to rage to Pitbull.

I mostly lurk here bc this board seems really judgmental. Like if a band isn't obscure then it must be lame. Sorry but maybe popular artists are popular bc they're better than the unknown ones.

If you dropped 20$ in a juke box and play ten 311 songs in a row you get what you deserve. Espically on a Christmas party bar hop.

We need more music board games.

I dislike 98% of country music.

No one loves me, neither do I.

My name is motorboat and I've seen over 500 live shows. I used to be a huge panic fan, but I've cooled off on them due to Jimmy's annoying arse guitar. I think all things Warren Hayes are the best things going in music now. Also, I'm exploring my family roots of swamp pop but my Sirius Satellite is 90% on outlaw country these days.

My name is MrCoachKlein, I enjoy anything if it sounds good to me, but if it doesn't- it's awful. I enjoy DBT, AA, Bingham, ABB, MTB, Turnpike, Mofro, The Band, southern rock, alt country, and the delta blues. I make fun of my friends who listen to Aldean on the way to see The Expendables, but I don't really give a shite either way. Neil Young is a douche, and I love good funk but know little about it. #1998bourbonBowlChamps
